About
Dante Pettus is a music producer and sound designer whose craft runs the full life of a record — from the first sample pulled to the stereo master delivered. A Temple schoolmate of founder Brian C. Coleman for close to twenty years, Dante came into OGB Productions the way the company itself was built: on a real relationship, not a résumé.
As a founding member he helps establish the company’s sonic identity and creative direction, and serves as a core creative collaborator across the Da Good Book project family and OGB client productions. If it sounds like OGB, Dante’s ears have been on it.
The Craft
Production
- Full-lifecycle record production: sample selection, arrangement, recording, final mix

- Artistic continuity across multi-artist projects

- Multi-track hardware workflows — Tascam DP-24 & 2488neo
Sound & Delivery
- Sound design for OGB releases and client work
- Stereo master delivery
- Tagged previews; clean masters on final payment — the house rule, every corner
The Work
Da Good Book
Core collaborator on the Da Good Book project family — production, arrangement, and catalog continuity across releases, alongside Brian and Brian Jr.
Client Productions
Production services on paid OGB client projects — the same ears, the same standard, brought to work the company is hired to make.
The Merch Lane
Dante owns OGB’s merchandise lane end-to-end — design, local sourcing and prototyping, and distribution — with the company feeding client work into the lane.
From the Vault
Urban Orient — an early Dante cut: a Spider-Man theme with an Asian twist over driving boom bap. Slated for resurrection.
The Perfect Square
Four corners, one company. If this company scales, the square is the board.
